Privacy policy.
Stochastic Macro is an on-prem platform: the product runs on your machines, uses your AI provider keys, and never sends your code or specs to us. This policy covers the small amount of information we do collect — mostly through this marketing site and email — and how we use it.
What we collect
- Early-access requests. When you submit the early-access form, we collect your email, and optionally your name, company, and role. We use this to decide whether your team is a fit for early access and to follow up with setup instructions.
- Research-guide downloads. When you request the research guide, we collect your email so we can send you the guide and (infrequently) related research updates.
- Email correspondence. When you write to any of our addresses, we keep those threads so we can answer follow-ups.
That's it. We do not run ad-network pixels, third-party session recorders, or behavioural trackers on this site. Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) for security and uptime purposes, retained for up to 30 days.
What we do with it

- Send the research guide or early-access instructions you asked for.
- Occasionally email you research updates if you opted in — one-click unsubscribe is always in the footer.
We don't sell or rent your information. We don't share it with third-party marketers. We only share it with processors strictly necessary to run the business (our email provider, for example), and only for the purpose they're helping with.
The product itself
Stochastic Macro is a single binary that runs on your machine. It talks to whatever AI providers you configure — or to a local model server — using credentials you control. No servers of ours ever touch your code, specs, or review history. There's no telemetry ping-back to us. Fully air-gapped deployments are supported.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it at any time by writing to privacy@stochasticmacro.ai. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in a jurisdiction with stronger data-protection rights (EU/EEA, UK, California), those rights apply and we honour them.
Children
This service is aimed at professional engineering teams and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new version.
